West Shore Bank offers its annual Rhythm & Dunes Summer Concert Series at the Waterfront Park Pavilion in downtown Ludington. Everyone enjoys these free events which are open to the public and begin at 7pm. With blankets, chairs, and coolers filling the grassy area, it's a wonderful way to spend a summer evening. An estimated crowd of 8,000 attended the 2013 concerts...a record number for Waterfront Park.

The first act for the Rhythm & Dunes Concert Series is the DSB Band from Los Angeles, performing on July 26. They will feature a tribute to the great 70s band Journey. Formed in 2008, the DSB Band was selected by Ryan Seacrest and Mark Cuban to appear on AXS TVs "The World's Greatest Tribute Bands." They have been highly revered by fans as the "next best thing" to Journey.

The second concert on August 2 is Megastars of Country, featuring hits from country greats Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn and George Strait. They have performed from Las Vegas to Atlantic City, and includes the Late Nite Rodeo Band, featuring guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, pedal steel and fiddle/mandolin. Featuring Larry Turner and Doug Brewin, this is an exciting fun-filled live concert experience the entire family will enjoy.

A portion of the proceeds from vendor sales are donated to the music programs at three Mason County schools, with $2,000 being donated in 2013. Food vendors at both concerts include House of Flavors, Hungry Howie's Pizza, Lela's Kettle Korn and West Shore Bank brats and hot dogs.

Don't miss these free events during the heart of the summer, at Waterfront Park in downtown Ludington.
