About Ludrock Nation
Ludrock is an all-day music event held annually on a weekend close to Ludington's July 4th Freedom Festival. The Ludrock entertainment roster includes performances by dozens of musicians.
Rock on with Ludrock!Just when you thought the summer in Ludington couldn't be filled with even more fun and entertainment, Ludington area graduates organized Ludrock, a wonderful event enjoyed by tourists and locals alike. In 2016 this will be held July 9-10 in Ludington's Rotary Park (formerly City Park). Held on a weekend close to Ludington's popular Freedom Festival, Ludrock features live music from local bands and musicians, and it's a don't miss event for the entire family. New in 2016 will be a Kids Crafts Area. Food, drinks and event memorabilia are available for purchase. Ludrock raised a record-setting $37,000 in 2015.
Ludrock Donates to the CommunityProceeds from the 2016 Ludrock activities will benefit the Ludington Area Center for the Arts for improvements to its Performance Hall, the Ludington Area Schools Youth Resource Center, Staircase Youth Services and Sandcastles Children's Museum. Other beneficiaries will be the Bob Parker Music Scholarship Fund, Hospitality Inc. and the Food Bank at Lakeshore Resource Network. The Ludington Area Jaycees will operate the food and beverage concessions, using the proceeds for its many community-based projects.
These performers are scheduled for 2016. Days of performance will be added after the schedule is complete. Check back for updates.

Every year around Halloween, the Ludrock group of Ludington hosts its annual Night of Fright at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts, which is a frighteningly fun fundraising effort by the members of Ludrock for the Center's Performance Hall. In the spring, Girl Power takes the stage at the Ludington Area Center for the Arts, when Live at the LACA: Ludrock Girls Rock takes place. This event, sponsored by The Zonta Club of Ludington Area, celebrates women through musical performance and spoken word. Local female musicians, singers and artists of all ages perform live.
