The Ludington Area Jaycees: Building Young Leaders Since 1947

They take pride in making the community a better place to live through their many fundraising projects and involvements. One of the most notable and popular events hosted by the club is their annual 4th of July Freedom Festival in downtown Ludington. The club also owns and manages the Ludington Area Jaycees Mini Golf Course in Stearns Park, a business that contributes 30% of it's profits annually to other community organizations and causes.
The Ludington Area Jaycees were chartered in 1947 and, in 2017, are celebrating 70 years of building young leaders in Mason County through community service, networking opportunities, and personal and professional skill trainings.

March 31st, 2018: Annual Easter Egg Hunt, 1pm at Copeyon Park
April: Crazy Bartender Contest to benefit Freedom Festival Fireworks Fund at Timbers- 320 S. James St. in Ludington
June 13th, 2018: Summer Kick Off Concert featuring the Scottville Clown Band, 7pm at Waterfront Park
July 3rd-4th, 2018: Freedom Festival Events including Children & Pet Parade, Grand Parade, and Fireworks
October 26th-December 31st, 2018: Koeze Nut Fundraiser
October/November: Light Up the Night Music Series
November: Thanksgiving Baskets for Needy Families
