Easter Egg Hunts in Ludington, Pentwater & Freesoil


Springtime means Easter, and communities around Mason and Oceana counties have numerous chances for little ones to hunt for eggs and candy. Attend all the events or pick one....either way, there's lots of fun activities for kids of all ages.


April 5
Johnny's Skate Center in Custer hosts an Easter egg scramble on Saturday, April 5 from noon-1pm. Doors open at 11:30am and admission is free. There are two age brackets: 5 years and under and 6-10 years. The scramble features door pries, a 50/50 raffle, and prizes within the eggs. Light refreshments will be served and the Easter Bunny will be on hand for photo opportunities.

April 12
Circle Rocking S Children's Farm will hold a special needs egg hunt and bonnet contest on Tuesday, April 15 beginning at 1pm. Hidden eggs will be at wheelchair height, with other sections for the more flexible. All special needs children are invited and admission is free. Bring your own basket and bonnet. April 19-Ludington
The Ludington Area Jaycees will host Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, April 19 from 10am-noon at Grace Episcopal Church. During the $1 pancake breakfast, have your picture taken with the Easter Bunny and enter the coloring contest. Then at 2pm, head to the Jaycees Mini Golf Course at Stearns Park Beach for the Easter Egg Hunt. There will be prizes for children 16 and under and the event is free.

St. John's Lutheran Church will hold its Easter Egg Hunt at 10:30am on April 19. The eggs go fast in this hunt, so arrive promptly and be ready to collect as many eggs as you can.

April 19-Pentwater
The annual Easter on the Green will be held on April 19 in Pentwater. Starting at noon on the Village Green, children can hunt for eggs, meet the Easter Bunny, enter the Easter Bonnet parade, and play games.
